Vessel Type: USL 1B/3B Commercial Rock Lobster
When Jamie O’Byrne ordered “En-Rybo”, the order was definite … High bow freeboard, good beam and excellent load carrying.
In 1996, this was the first of many GMD designed aluminium cray boats professionally assembled by Fine Entry Marine of Geraldton W.A.
“En-Rybo” (being the O’Byrne name spelt backwards), raised the standard for aluminium rock lobster vessels when built in 1996. The incredible flare and deep forefoot made for the ultimate fast lobster vessel, but combining that with twin keels, she set new standards in following sea tracking and safety, a feature now copied by many other designers.
There’s not much that this one hasn’t been through, all with flying colours.
