What don't I get?

• You do not get any of the parts pre-bent. Please note, you are purchasing a 'FLAT PACK' kit package when you purchase just the 'metal' component of a Marine Kits® package. This means that some parts may require bending (typically the gunwale capping strakes, some window mullions and fuel tanks). These parts are still supplied, cut and marked with the bend location and angle. In these cases you will need access to a Hydraulic press for folding sheet metal up to 6mm.

• You do not get any components other than the aluminium/steel hull structure, unless you specifically order them.

• Propeller Shafts and Rudder Stocks in Stainless Steel ARE NOT part of an aluminium/steel kit, however these can be supplied on order.

• The stern tube/s and rudder tubes ARE included but no machining is done. Therefore you will need to bore and machine for bearings and glands.

• Whilst we provide the drawings for the building jig, we do not provide the steel for its construction, unless ordered as an additional item. We build almost all of our kits, upside down, on a jig to maintain accuracy and alignment during construction.

• We provide the drawings for the unique frame assembly method, ensuring fast and accurate assembly frames, but not the material. This can be ordered additionally if required.

Window and Door Package

• One of the most commonly ordered extras, is a complete aluminium framed toughened glass window kit ready to install. The glass is in the frames ready to be bolted into your superstructure panels, the moment you remove them from the box. The windows are sized according to Marine Branch requirements, use only toughened glass and are mounted in heavy duty black anodised frames. (Other colours are also available). The package includes all stainless steel bolts and silicone for fitting. The window cut-out shape is marked on the corresponding aluminium panels of the wheelhouse. We also supply commercially made aluminium doors for the bulkhead entry and toilets. These are high quality with all stainless steel marine grade fittings.

• We have access to Propellers, Shafting, Fabricated Rudders, Sea Boxes, Manifolds, and Exhaust Components and more.

• We can supply and freight all of the components for your new vessel in Complete Knock Down (CKD) form. These CKD packages are only offered to purchases of our Marine Kits Metal Package (MKMP).
