32m Passenger Ferry Under Construction in the Philippines - 11/09/2009
Category: Passenger Ferries - Mk 05061

In 2005 we were commisisoned by Ocean Fast Ferries of the Philippines to design them a new heavy duty ferry after they evaulated their needs and reviewed the "Sea Flyte".
The result is a Bureau Veritas class approved passenger ferry, fully kitted and of a structural standard that makes a lot of ferries look like disposable vessels.
Under construction in Cebu in the Southern Philippines, we expect a launch date early in 2010.
This significant kitset was sold by our Marine Kits representative in the Philippines, Steve Tyler, an ex-pat marine engineer who resides there for what he describes as "beautiful scenery" ... Steve also keeps busy with a lot of our detailed engineering design.

30m Offshore Work Catamaran - 16/02/2009
Category: Work Boats - MK 07021

Our latest design, currently under construction at the Fine Entry Marine yard in Geraldton, Western Australia is sure to set the standards even higher.

This is the 6th Catamaran off our design board to be commissioned by Louie Kannikoski's BHAGWAN MARINE, fast becoming the leader in oil and gas support boats in Australia. By using our unique Deep Sea Offshore Catamaran design, Bhagwan Marine is able to win contracts that monohulls simply can not perform.

Our catamarans outperform the monohulls in Speed, Load Carrying and Ride Comfort.

This new boat is powered by a pair of 16V2000M60R MTU engines, driving fixed pitch propellers for a continuous speed of 20 knots at 150 tonnes displacement.
Our next step is to convince the operators of the benefits of controllable pitch propellers (CPP) for this type of work vessel.

12.6m High Speed AIR RIDER RIB - 8/11/2008
Category: Air Rider® Hulls - MK 06032

*** World First ***
LAUNCHED !!! This brand new design for Richard Gilpin of Jersey in the UK, incorporates all the best parts of our excellent AIR RIDER hull shape, with those of the inflatable collared RIB vessel.
Powered by 4 x 300 HP Suzuki Outboards, with high speed gear casings and semi cleaver propellers, the engines are mounted on jacking plates allowing Richard to lift the engines to achieve the very best speed and trim.
But wait, there's still more ... It has a double berth below decks, 6 bolster seats in the cockpit, quad bike storage on the foredeck, kayaks on the roof.
Launched in 2008, the vessel showed excellent performance cruising at 37 knots in 2 metre seas and 20 knots of breeze.

26m "Great Escape" Catamaran Charter Vessel - 17/07/2007
Category: Tourism Boats - MK 05023

o.k. so we've made you wait for this one...but it's worth it.
In a little while we will have the complete specs under the TOURISM BOATS category on this site. Launched in 2006 this is the flagship of the Great Escape Charter Company operating out of Broome in the North West of Western Australia.
Built by Fine Entry Marine, the builders of the first vessel for this same company the "Kimberley Escape", this new catamaran is a quantam leap in comfort, economy and sheer space for the fully berthed 12 passengers.
Complete with a heli pad, heated spa on the foredeck and exceptional comfort on the main deck lounge, both inside and on the aft deck.
All cabins have en-suite bathrooms and individual air conditioning and TVs' [hey, but who needs them when you are on holidays in our beautiful North West Coastal region!!]
Powered by a pair of Caterpillar 3412C's, we have a genuine top speed of 24 knots but most of the cruising is done at night at around 12 knots for economy.

"Swiftsure" - 13m Target Recovery RIB - 13/05/2005
Category: Work Boats - MK 04112

Our new 13m 'Target Recovery RIB', boasts a top speed approaching 40 knots and with a deck crane having a capacity of 500kg, makes this a awesome all round work boat.

The foam filled soft collars provide excellent protection when working along side other vessels.
