Designers Note:

We were approached by Richard Gilpin of Jersey, UK, early in 2006 to develop him a world beating RIB. Richard has a lot of experience with RIBs and felt that there was something lacking in the performance of many of the current brand name RIBs.
We set about combining our stunning AIR RIDER hull form with inflatable RIB collars with the result being this amazing new vessel fiited with the latest offering from SUZUKI, who have worked closely with Richard on this custom configuration.

Additional Information Richard has done a stunning job in co-ordinating this whole build project, using Auztek Engineering in Wales for the Aluminium work, then a whole range of specialists for the remainder of the fitout and engineering.
The key to the vessel's performance, aside from the AIR RIDER hull, is the fact that it has been fitted with 'Jacking Plates' which allow the motors to be raised dynamically. Coupled to this is the fitting of specialist semi surface piercing propellers which allow the engines to be run at increased height, without being prone to cavitation of the propellers.
Vessel Application Although this was built as a private vessel to allow high speed transits from Jersey in the Channel Islands, across to France or England, it is well suited for PATROL applications.
