Wind Farm VesselsGlobal Marine Design has been working with several builders in the UK and European wind farm market now for several years. Our experience with designing large aluminium catamarans for Australia's Oil and Gas market, has played a direct role in our development of the Wind Farm vessels due to the fact that the operational conditions and roles of the vessels are very similar. In June of 2009, Global Marine Design assigned Gardline Shipping, located in Great Yarmouth UK, as our agent for the UK and European market. We did however retain our two main existing builders Schiffswerft Diedrich of Germany and Arklow Marine of Ireland as our other direct link builders. With these three yards available to build our highly specified aluminium Wind Farm vessels, the buyer has a choice of location and build style.
